Nook & Loom was founded by Elizabeth Harvey, a soft furnishing specialist with over a decade of experience in traditional upholstery and bespoke interiors.
Each made-to-measure cushion is handcrafted with precision, combining carefully selected upholstery fabrics with high-quality foam and thoughtful construction. The goal is simple: to create cushions that fit beautifully and stand the test of time.
Meet Elizabeth
Elizabeth studied traditional soft furnishings in England for two years before gaining hands-on experience in a busy workroom serving the trade and interior designers. During this time, she worked on high-end furnishing projects for a wide range of properties.
Five years ago, she established her own business from her home in Wales. Since then, she has created bespoke cushions and soft furnishings for projects ranging from converted barns and refurbished medieval farmhouses to compact townhouses and modern interiors.
Her work is rooted in craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
From Etsy to Nook & Loom
Originally launched on Etsy as NestbyElizabeth, the business quickly gained recognition for its beautifully crafted box cushions and personalised service.
With growing demand, Nook & Loom was created to offer customers a dedicated space to design their made-to-measure cushions directly, while maintaining the same personal approach that built the brand.
